903/912/918-被删除。这三个包装说明目前用于锂电池、安装在设备中或与设备包装在一起的锂电池，将由PI965-PI970替代。其中PI965-PI967分别适用于“UN3480-锂离子电池”及“UN3481-安装在设备中或与设备包装在一起的锂离子电池”；PI968-PI970分别适用于“UN3090-锂金属电池”及“UN3091-安装在设备中或与设备包装在一起的锂金属电池”。归类为第9类的锂金属电池，客机运输每件的重量限制减到毛重2.5kg，且其包装内的中间隔板或外包装必须是金属。
新的包装说明也包含了以前依据A45可以按“非限制性物品”运输的小型锂离子电池和锂金属电池的运输规定。但是，以“非限制性物品”运输的每个包装件内允许的电池重量大幅减少，锂金属电池每件的重量限制为毛重2.5kg，锂离子电池每件的重量限制为毛重10kg。这三个新包装说明的格式和代号与2011年1月1日开始生效的整个包装说明的新格式一致。
