Inrecentyears,thenumberofcommercialapplicationswithadhocnetworksraisedwiththerapidspreadofmobiletelephoneusage,personaldigitalassistantsandtheenlargementofinexpensivewirelesssolutionsformonitoringtools.Accordingly,therearemanyongoingdistributedsystemsresearches.Examplesfortheadhocapplicationsaredisasterrelief,conferencing,homenetworking,habitatmonitoring,warehouseinventorymonitoring,andpersonalareanetworks.Anad-hocnetworkutilisesmultihopscenariosbecauseofthelimitoftransmissionrange(see[1]formoredetails).Thenodesworksasarouterandforwardthepacketstotheothernodes.Byvirtueofthecentralizedentitiesabsence,thecommutationmethodsandroutingalgorithmsaredecentralized.Theyhavetodealwiththemobilityoftheparticipantsandthevariationintheconnectivity.Thus,differentroutingprotocolshavebeendeveloped.AODV(AdhocOnDemandDistanceVectorroutingprotocol),DSR(DynamicSourceRoutingprotocol),DSDV(HighlyDynamicDestination-SequencedDistanceVectorroutingprotocol),andTORA(Temporally-OrderedRoutingAlgorithmroutingprotocol)aretheexamplesoftheroutingprotocols.AODV[3]andDSR[4]routingprotocolsarecitedasthemostprominentframeworkstobestandardizedinthefuture.Theadhocnetworksdevicesarebatterypowered.Therefore,theamountofspentenergybytheroutingprotocolaffectsthebandwidthutilisation.Ifanode,thatisintheshortest
