TG Team Meeting Minute 20020821

The meeting addressed the following issues:
1. John Bridgewater and Bill Garman will arrive in Xiamen on Sunday,Aug 25th(Time
& Flight No.?) and Tuesday, Aug 27th, 11:30 am respectively. Little Amei is to look after the logistics.
2. Tony/Weiky/William are to follow up on the moving-to-Xiamen issue about when will
it take place, where the office locates, how shall TG work with the clients down there and how to line up with meetings, including TG team meetings, CFTs and BIT
meetings in Anhai HQ.
3. Rick briefly reviewed last BIT meeting. Please refer to Daniel’s BIT meeting minute
for detail.
4. CFT Handbook. Currently Daniel is working on the translation and about 10% is
already finished (Helen’s translated the Meeting Effectiveness part of it as required by Bill K.).
5. Job Description Status. Yang Zong is to call on a meeting with Department
Managers on the Job Description Issue. Currently TG has heard many complaints from the client about the Job Descriptions, mainly on the overlapping of some of the responsibilities for different posts. This may also reveal that some of the HengAn people are not willing to take the pain to change to new accountabilities. TG will look into the issue to further solve the problem.
6. Rick inquires whether we’ve taken advantage of the early lunchtime to improve our
communication with the clients.
7. Role of Communication Resultants/Translators. The Communication
Resultants/Translators shall work closely with their resultant whom could be
considered as their one-on-one built-in tutors. The Communication
Resultants/Translators could learn from their respective tutors about subject matters and help TG to build solid relationships with and win trust from the client.
Communication Resultants/Translators can turn to other resultants on relevant
subjects to gain other areas of knowledge.
[Side Comment]: ZSP wanted to call Anerle back to Anhai HQ, which could be discussed on the BIT. We could further consider the possibility of outsourcing Anle to OEMs and reflect it in our marketing strategy.
