The Strategy Analysis of inventory management in RT-MART
Abstract: The supply chain management is a bottleneck for developing the retail business, and it is also a significant project for international and domestic academics to study. Supermarket, as a major format of the retail business, caused both industry and academias great attention to its supply chain management. Currently, there is a fierce market competition between all the big, medium and small supermarket. Every supermarket business has some problems which are more or less existed on its own purcha-sing, supply chain relation, logistic system, information processing or customer service. And how do we go about solving these problems? It is essential for us to perfect the management scheme, improve the operational management level, gain excellent bene-fits, and serve the people better. Only in this way can it blended in the modern logistics boom well and then excavates sufficiently the “third profits source” in today’s world. This paper is going to introduce some theoretical knowledge about inventory management, then research the inventory management situation of RT-MART in Hef-ei. It also presents the current situation of RT-MART’s inventory management and some existed problems, then put forward some solutions. And it will analyze RT-MART’s inventory management under its own supply chain conditions.
