It’s difficult to choose working in academia or industry after graduation for many students. As far as I am concered,I would rather work in academia.You just need to accumulate knowledge,develop technical acumen and leave alone those complex interpersonal skills when doing research in academia.Also,working in academia in China can help you to get higher social status and the respect of other people.But the payment of academia might be lower than industry.
However,working in industry can be challenging.You might meet new sorts of people everyday,complete tasks with other people and you will accumulate a great deal of relationship assets after working in industry for a while.The payment is proportional to your ability,if you can bring more benefits to the company,then you can be better paid.But working in industry is not very stable,you might be dissmissed just because the company needs to slim down even you have never made any mistakes.
