Skimming Read the passage silently and quickly, answer the questions: (1) Are there lots of things to do in Sunshine Town? (2) What can we do in Sunshine Town? 2. Detailed reading (1) Read Para 1 and answer some questions. 1. How long is it from the centre of Beijing to Sunshine Town by underground? 2. What can you see in Sunshine Park? 3. Do local people like doing in the park in the morning? (2) Read Para 2 and do “T” or “F”. 1. There are not many shops in sunshine town. 2. The things in the shops are nice but expensive. 本节课我的教学内容是七下第三单元阅读课第一课时。下面我就上课的内容结合我上课时情况谈谈自己课后的想法。

1.这节课是阅读课第一课时。在这一课中帮助学生掌握阅读技巧是本课的目的。所以引导学生通过跳读、精读等方法在文中获取相关信息。并且在阅读前结合溧阳本地的天目湖呈现本课重要的生词、短语,以便降低学生在阅读课文时的难度。在读课文是还采取了默读、大声朗读、自由读、集体读、跟读等阅读形式,收获很大。

2.我觉得这一课我做的很欠缺的就是Make a dialogue这一环节。学生在做对话时,都只提问了我课件上提供的五个对话,整个场面单调又无聊。后来我想如果换一种方法可能会好一些。例如我可以提供多个问题,在学生做对话时可以

有更多的选择余地。甚至还可以不提供任何的参考问题,让学生自由的自主提问他们自己感兴趣的问题。或许这样课堂氛围会更活跃,而且学生训练的更到位。

在这次活动中,在蒋老师和各位同仁的指导下,我受益非浅,争取下次可以做的更好。

1. Answer the following questions by reading the text freely again. (1) What things can people do at Sunshine Town? (2) What do local people like doing in the morning?

(3) How far is it from Sunshine Town to the centre of Beijing? (4) What food can we eat? (5) Where can we enjoy the opera?

2. Complete a short passage with some words in the text.

Step 2 Language points

Ask the students to find out what they don?t understand or what they think important.

本课是7B Unit 3 Reading (2 )的教学, 是对第一课时所学知识的一个回顾,第一部分通过提问五个问题和完成一篇short passage来复习了Sunshine Town.第二部分在语言点的处理上,将重点语法和句型罗列出来,帮助学生掌握和理解。第三部分用天目湖的图片导出一系列关于天目湖的位置、景色、游览活动、食物等相关内容,并让学生自己做导游,写一篇介绍天目湖的小作文。

二、存在问题

1. 在语言点的处理时,直接给出了这些语言点,如果让学生自己去文章中自己去找可能会更好些,可以培养学生自己的探究能力。在教学到famous这个单词时,补充了一个“be famous for”

和“be famous as”,我两个词组各给出了两个例句,同时也给出了它们的意思,在这个环节,应该让学生自己通过所给例句自己去感知,区分出它们的区别,这样更有益于学生的自主学习。在今后的教学中应注重学生这方面能力的培养。

2.最后一部分写作的环节,在谈论了天目湖的location and transport ,environment, doing, eating, shopping等相关信息后,就让学生根据提供的信息去写作文了,我觉得在这里可以加一个speaking 的环节,让学生自己选择说说最喜欢天目湖的什么方面,在口头表达掌握后,落实到书面可能会利于学生的写作。

作为一名英语老师,在今后的教学中要不断地提高自身的专业素质,完善自己的教学。
