Step1 Warming-up
Enjoy a song.享受一首歌曲,激起学生兴趣。 Step2 Presentation
1.Learn new words.通过感受水的“冷”、“热”认识英文单词,
理解其含义。
Take out a cup of water.
T: Are you tired?. I’m tired. And I’m very thirsty. Can I drink some water, please?
S: Yes.
T: Oh, my dear, the water is too hot! Please touch it. Is it hot?
(Students touch it and repeat)S: Yes, it’s hot. Students pass it one by one and say ”hot”.
Take a cup of cold water,and teach the word ‘cold’ in the same way.
2.Show pictures to learn new sentences.展示图片,学习新句型。
T:How’s the weather today?Is it hot or cold? S:It’s hot.
Show a picture of snow. T:Is it cold ? S:Yes,it’s cold.
Let students repeat the new sentences:It’s hot/cold today.
