Linux安装Domino心得V1.0

This will check the Operating System level and tell you what is missing. Note, no patch list if all patches are present.

The OS appears to have the correct patches .

Installing Domino Server kits ...

The Domino Server installed successfully.

Please manually configure the Domino Server as follows: 1) Login as the appropriate UNIX user: 'notes';

2) Change to the data directory using the command: 'cd /local/notesdata'; 3) Configure the server using the command: '/opt/ibm/lotus/bin/server' To configure the server remotely, the remote server setup tool is required and you can use the command:

'/opt/ibm/lotus/bin/server -listen'

After issuing this command, additional instructions will appear for remote server setup. For additional details, see the section

'Using the Domino Server Setup program remotely' in the Lotus Domino Administrator Help documentation.

2 语言包安装

使用root身份登录至linux 将语言包上传至linux服务器上

a).在语言包目录下运行安装命令LNXDomLP702_CONSOLE，显示以下画面选择安装的语言包，按回车

（启动安装语言包的步骤：ls –al 和cd 切换到语言包解压的路径； ./ LNXDomLP702_CONSOLE启动安装。安装步骤参照下面信息） InstallShield Wizard

If you have English-language or customized templates that you want to maintain, copy those files to a directory outside of the Domino data directory.

If you are running this on Unix, please ensure that you are logged on as root user.

Software License Agreement will be displayed at next screen.

d).选择DOMINO Server程序目录，按回车

- Specify the directory which you want to install Domino server and Language Pack. If Domino server is already installed, please enter program directory of the Domino server.

Enter new directory [/opt/ibm/lotus]

e).确认安装信息，按1

f).选择No，按回车

- Installer found Domino server in selected directory.

To install Language Packs, it requires that Domino server which has appropriate version is installed to the system.

If the Domino server is not appropriate version, you can upgrade it by

installing English Domino server, and also can install Language Packs in this installation.(Optical media or installer images of English Domino server is needed.)

g).选择不安装Domino Server，按1

Replace Language Pack

Overwrites files and/or designs of the Domino server, with translated files of the selected language.

Remove Language Pack from Domino server

Remove files and/or designs, of selected languages, from the files of the Domino server.

j).确认安装，按1
