and plasticizer for polymers,the increasing demand of p-xylene and o-xylene can be satisfied by isomerization of mixture of p-xylene,m-xylene,o-xylene and ethylbenzene. Thus the development of isomerization process and catalyst are of great importance. SKI series catalysts of C8 aromatics isomerization, researching by RIPP, were prepared for using in eight of isomerization units belong to SINOPEC and CNPC after expansion revamping to fulfill the specified operating conditions,such as high activity of catalysts,low hydrogen/oil ratio,high space velocity and high content of ethylbenzene in isomerization feed.The prepared catalysts are a platinum contained dual-function catalyst with high purity alumina and dual-zeolites as matrix.They can be long-term running at all kinds of operating conditions.
