2013-2014年石景山高三一模作文范文
Dear Chris,
I’ve finally made my decision to go to American for further study after high school.
I’ve been longing to go to American, mainly for two reasons. One is that I can experience American culture, and the other is that I can broaden my mind in this country. But I have some worries. My English is a bit poor, especially spoken English. I’m afraid I’ll have trouble communicating. Besides, I may suffer from heavy pressure from college course.
I hope you can offer me some practical advice. Look forward to your reply. Yours Joe
Dear Chris,
I plan to study abroad in America after my graduation. And I am writing to ask you for some advice.
By studying abroad, I aim to broaden my horizon and accumulate more knowledge. What’s more, I’d like to experience a different culture. However, every coin has two sides. Although it benefits a lot to study abroad, some problems still remain worrying me. On the one hand, I doubt whether there will be difficulties communicating with native speakers, since I’m not sure if my English is good enough. On the other hand, it’s said that studying abroad brings much pressure on studies, which means it will be hard for me. Is that true? What’s your opinion? Do you think I need to improve my English in order to communicate with others fluently? And how? Or do I have to think twice about the plan?
I would appreciate it if you could give me some
advice. Write to me soon. I am looking forward to your reply.
Yours,
Joe 徐一鸣
Dear Chris,
I am planning to go to America to study after I graduate from senior high school, and I want to ask you for some information about it.
First of all, my purpose of studying abroad is to increase my knowledge as well as to experience a new culture which differs from the one in China. However, I still get confused. What make me confused is the language barrier and the stress from the study. I am wondering whether I can get over the difficulties which result from the language. Besides, I also don’t want the stress to be too huge for me because I think that it is bad for my mental health. In the end, I would like to know your suggestions to me and I would appreciate it from heart. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Yours,
Joe 陈紫虞 Dear Chris,
How’s everything going with you? I am going to graduate from high school and I decide to go to America for further study. But I have some problems in the plan and I sincerely hope that you can help me out.
In my opinion, studying in the U.S.A will definitely benefit
me a lot. It will enlarge my horizon and offer me a chance to experience different culture. I am eager to go there at once, but there are some problems. First of all, I have difficulty in speaking fluent English. Then, I am wondering if there will be a huge stress for me to study in a foreign university? Furthermore, I am afraid of having no friends in a new place. It will make me feel sad and lonely. Could you please give me some advice? It will be great if you can help me out. Thank you for your time and I am looking forward to hear from you. Yours,

第二节
Last Saturday, my friends and I went to climb the West Mountain. While climbing, we enjoyed the sunny weather and a beautiful view. We were very delighted to reach the top without much time or effort. However, we found it more difficult to go down, so we went slowly and helped each other when necessary. Though I took care a lot, unfortunately I slipped and hurt my leg badly and could hardly stand up. One of my friends came to me immediately and carried me on the back till we reached the foot of the mountain.
I was very thankful and felt proud of having such good friends.
Last week, my friends and I enjoyed an
unforgettable Saturday climbing the West Hill. The scenery and fine weather did make us refreshed, but it was the help and care from friends that made this experience most appealing.
We set out early in the morning, expecting to enjoy the fresh air and gentle wind at the West Hill. In high spirits we climbed, and felt that we had never been that excited and energetic for a long time. It was only ten o’clock when we reached the top, took photos in funny gestures and sang songs aloud to express our happiness. As we went down the mountain, Xiao Ming offered to take our hands and help us get down the abrupt stones while standing on an unsteady rock. It really astonished us when the rock slide, made Xiao Ming slipped and caused his leg hurt seriously. Being unable to walk due to the pain, Xiao Ming insisted that he wait until the medical aid came. Though we hadn’t experienced such an accident before, my classmates decided that we would not let him alone. We took turns to hold Xiao Ming on our back until we finally got to the foot of the mountain, tired for the long journey, we were glad to know so strong the friendship was that we could make it even in such a difficult situation.
This activity taught me a good lesson on friendship and support. I will cherish this precious piece of memory in my heart
forever.
