The Automatic Dividing Junction Box Punching Die Design

(College of Engineering, South China Agricultural University,Guangzhou510642,China) Abstract：Punching die has been widely used in industrial production.In the traditional industrial production,the worker work very hard,and there are too much work,so the efficiency is low.With the development of the science and technology nowadays,the use of punching die in the industial production gain more attention, and be used in the industrial production more and more.Self-acting feed technology of punching die is also used in production, punching die could increase the efficience of production and could alleviate the work burden，so it has significant meaning in technologic progress and economic value.
This text have designed one kind of the punched hole die being used to punch the holes on the side wall of the junction box which can divid automatically. The die consists of three parts by punching part ,dividing mechanism and hold-down gear. Dividing mechanism has been the key of the design of this die which is mainly composed of ratchet wheel, runner, the pawl, the main axle, the links, and other components. Dividing part of the design allows the workpiece in the process of punching an accurate and automatic indexing to the successful completion of a junction box wall uniform distribution of the 20-hole of the system.
At the same time the punching part and hold-down gear have been designed in this text .For the punching part, female die and male die are designed to the fast-change structure because they are easy to damage. A polyurethane unloading packages is used for unloading. For the hole-down gear, the pressure contact with the workpiece is designed to be in the form of rotation, so that the hole-down gear can pinch the workpiece but will not hinder the workpiece from rotation.
In order to detect the interference of the assembly and display visually such as its overall structure, finally the text uses the PO / E software to establishment of three-dimensional model, assemble virtually and make a dynamic simulation for the die .The reasonabless and the correctness of the die’s design is verified.
