[⑧] 《经济自由指数》是美国“传统基金会”（The Heritage Foundation）、《华尔街期刊》（Wall Street Journal）共同制作出版闻名经济自由评价统计数据。它的基本理念是将制度环境作为经济的增长以及繁华的抉择因素，于是它选取了10大制度要素对于各国的经济自由入行分别平分，分值规模是一分到五分，一分表示该国家中的这个因素最有利于经济自由，而五分则相反，然后入行加权均匀。依照这类评分方式，二00五年的《经济自由指数》中有数据的一五五个国家中，中国香港以一.三五的分值据榜首，中国大陆以三.四六的分值据一一二位，北朝鲜以五分的分值据榜末。
[⑨] 《世界经济自由》由弗雷泽钻研所（the Fraser Institution）一九九六年开始制作出版，有多名诺贝尔经济学奖患上主介进其中，其影响力日益增添。它的目的很明确：衡量不同国家在不同时代内与经济自由相干的制度以及政策上的变化。《世界经济自由》将经济自由度的衡量划分为三八个组成部门，对于各组成部门在一分到一0分的规模内入行评分，最后入行加权均匀。依照这类评分方式，二00五年《世界经济自由》中统计了一二七个国家的经济自由度排名，中国香港以八.七的分值据榜首，中国大陆以四.一的分值排名一一六位，缅甸以三.六的分值在一二七个统计的国家中排名末尾。
