NO8 Drunk
There were many interesting stories about people who got drunk. This is one of my favorites. Mr. Smith got drunk one late summer evening at a friend’s party. He got out of the party very drunk, but still found his car. He got in the car and drove home. Mr. Smith got off the car and walked to his house. Before getting into the house, Mr. Smith bumped into a tree in front of the house and fell on the ground. He stood up, and got into his room and went to the washing room. He looked at himself in the mirror (鏡子) . His head was bleeding (出血的), so he took a piece of bandage (繃帶) and put it on the head. He went to bed and soon fell asleep.
Mr. Smith got up the next morning. His head still hurt very much. He was not drunk anymore now. He touched his head with the right hand, but no bandage was there. “Where is it? I remember putting it on my head,” Mr. Smith said to himself. Then he saw the mirror. On the mirror there was a piece of bandage. He put it there last night.
