ABSTRACT
China is not only a large country in vegetable production, but also a major exporter of
vegetables. Increasingly year by year, Chinese vegetable volume of export as become
Chinese new growth point of agricultural economy and the income of the farmers, and has
played an important part in maintaining its trade surplus, stimulating the agricultural
economy and developing our national economy. However, with the world economic
situation changes, we must suffer severe challenges to ensure sustainable growth of exports
of vegetables. Especially the rise of the green barriers has an enormous impaction on the
exports of vegetables in recent years. Through introducing the status of green barriers
affecting export of our vegetable industry in international trade, the reasons of foreign
countries resisting our vegetable products, the form of the developed countries against the
exports of our vegetables, this article proposes operational measures, in order to seeking to
actively promote the trade and the environment.
