语言是社会的一面镜子,反映着风俗习惯和人们的各种观念意识。性别差异也在语言中得到体现。男性与女性的语言存在明显差异。英语中的女性语言特点鲜明。本文根据一篇问卷调查的结果,运用社会语言学分析英语中女性语言的语言学特征,探究语言性别差异的发展趋势。研究表明,女性语言的语言学特征表现在语言风格、句法和语用三个方面,语言有着中性化的发展趋势,这种趋势体现在网络语言中。

[摘 要] 傲慢与偏见 是著名小说家简 奥斯汀的代表作。在这部作品里,达西的性格是非常值得去
思索的。达西是通过他与宾格莱的友谊,很意外地加入到情节中。每个人都忙于谈论简和宾格莱相爱的事,但在实际上真正的故事是达西和伊莉莎白之间时断时续的爱情故事。达西的性格对小说中所有其他人物来说都具有挑战性。人们对他的人品有许多不同的解释,这使他成了一个伊莉莎白说的很有意思的复杂的人。作者没有给读者勾画出一张完整的图画,而是通过伊莉莎白、宾格莱、威克汉姆、贝纳特太太等怎样看他以及梅里顿、彭伯利、兰布顿等场景把他衬托出来的。

女性语言的特点及其发展趋势,笔者发现英语中的性别歧视正在逐步减弱。英语有着中性化的发展趋势,这体现了女性的社会地位得到了提高。随着社会的发展,女性语言的中性化必将得到人们的认可,女性语言的中性化是语言发展的必然趋势。通过探究英语中女性语言的特点及其发展趋势,我们可以了解语言的社会性特征和发展方向,以便更好地理解和运用语言。
