What is the legal minimum wage of the area where the factory is located? The legal minimum wage of the factory located area is RMB 550 per month.
Do wages of the workers meet the legal minimum standards? What is the minimum wage in the factory? No. The worker’s wage was accounted by piece in the factory. The payroll of Oct to Dec 2005 was provided for reference. But the working hour record of Nov and Dec 2005 was not completely recorded due to problem of computer so the minimum wage of the months could not be verified. With refer to the worker’s working hour record and payroll of Oct 2005, the worker’s minimum total income in the factory was RMB674.2 per month with about 100 hours overtime working, which could not meet the legal minimum standard.
Do workers have to place unreasonable deposits with the company to work? No any unreasonable deposit was needed to place to factory.
Is the identity card held as security until worker leaves the company? No.
