一、教学内容

taller 更高的 bigger (体型)更大的 shorter 更矮的 heavier 更重的 stronger 更强壮的 longer 更长的 older 年龄更大的 thinner 更瘦的 younger 更年轻的 smaller (体型)更小的

主要句型:

1. How tall are you? I’m 164 cm tall. You’re shorter than me. 你多高? 我164厘米高。 你比我矮。

2. How heavy are you? I’m 48 kg. I’m thinner than you, and shorter. 你多重? 我48千克。 我比你瘦而且矮。

拓展句型:

1. How old are you? I’m 11 years old. 你多大了? 我11岁。

2. How big are your feet? I wear size 17. 你的脚多大? 我穿17号鞋。 3. How long are your legs? 76 cm. 你的腿多长? 76厘米。 语法:

形容词的比较级:原型--比较级 1.结尾直接加-er:

tall-taller高的-更高的, short-shorter矮的-更矮的, strong-stronger强壮的-更强壮的, old-older老的-更老的, young-younger年轻的-更年轻的, long-longer长的-更长的, small-smaller小的-更小的 例:You are older than me. 你比我老。

2.一辅音结尾重读闭音节,双写辅音加-er:

big-bigger大的-更大的, thin-thinner瘦的-更瘦的 例:Wu Yifan is bigger than Amy. 吴一凡比Amy块头大。 3.辅音加y,去y,加-ier:

heavy-heavier重的-更重的, funny-funnier滑稽的-更滑稽的 例:Mike is heavier than me. Mike 比我重。

教学内容

Part A Let ’ s learn / Let ’ s play 教学目标

1.使学生能听、说、读、写有关比较级的单词older、younger 、shorter、taller 、stronger。

2.知道than是比较的意思,than前面要用形容词比较级(v-er)。

3.了解cm、kg分别表示长度和重量单位,并知道它们的读音,会回答句型:How tall are you? How heavy are you?

教学重、难点

使学生初步掌握比较级的用法及句型,了解形容词比较级变化的一般规律。 教学准备

Can you make some sentences? 3.教学You are shorter than your brother. 出示我和我弟弟图片Boys and girls, look, can you guess who are they? Yes, He is my brother and this is me. Who can compare my brother and me?(Your brother is taller than you.) (You are shorter than your brother.)板书领读 That’s all for my brother and me. 2.能够调查同学的年龄、体重和身高并就调查结果进行分析比较,做出汇报 3.能够听董Let's try的录音内容并选出正确选项。 教学重、难点

本课时的教学重点与难点是四会掌握句型:“How tall are you? I’m 164 cm tall. You’re shorter than me .You’re 4 cm taller than me.”

教学准备

1.教师准备录音机和本课时的录音带及空中课堂教学资源。 2.教师准备本单元的单词卡片和几位名人的图片与资料。

教学过程 二次备课 (学生预设;教师提炼引导) 设计意图 (目标达成分析) Step 1. Preparation 1. 复习Let's chant部分的歌谣,播放录音,让学生跟着音乐有节奏地念。念完后提问:Who is tallest? Who is shortest?Who is smallest? 2. Guessing game. 教师用描述班上某位同学的特征,如:He is tall and thin. He is taller than ? and thinner than?。Who is he? 请学生猜猜说的是谁。在猜的过程中还可提问:Is he taller/? than ?? Step 2. Practice 1. Let's try 2. 教师放录音,学生看图选择正确答案,并从听觉上进一步感知主要句型。 指几名学生全班同学介绍自己家人的情况,再同桌相互说一说。 录音内容如下: 复习导入新课。 生活中的个人身高导入,展开目标1的学习。 对比中教学“cm,kg”,并明确使用方法及正确表达。 There are three elephants in a zoo. Father 3. Practice.
