使用Geoprocessing时，Python的要求
ArcGIS Desktop 地处理工具要求安装Python 2.6.x 或Numerical Python 1.3.0。如果机器上没有安装Python 2.6.x 或Numerical Python 1.3.0，在执行一个完整安装时将会自动安装Python 2.6.x 或Numerical Python 1.3.0。可以选择自定义安装，选择不安装Python软件。如果选择在安装ArcGIS Desktop时安装Python，可以选择安装目录，Python的安装路径不能包含空格。

Windows 7 和Windows Vista下的Microsoft WinHelp 包:
在Windows 7 和Windows Vista下使用ArcGIS Desktop, ArcInfo Workstation, ArcGIS Engine 或ArcReader 时，推荐安装下面的Microsoft 包。ArcGIS Desktop, ArcInfo Workstation, ArcGIS Engine 或ArcReader使用WinHlp32.为工具、命令和对话框提供弹出上下文相关帮助。WinHlp32.不能在Windows 7 和Windows Vista下使用，如果不安装Microsoft WinHelp 包。 4、打印机支持PrinterSupport
使用ArcGIS的本地驱动（native driver），ArcGIS 支持任何微软认证的Windows打印机。请注意一些打印机驱动不支持复杂的地图和ArcPress打印驱动，这时需要安装额外的硬件。
o 使用ArcPress打印驱动时，Esri推荐下面的配置:
如果复杂的大地图不能打印，重启机器确保pagefile系统被清理。如果pagefile系统不是专用的打印驱动，确保驱动不需要清理碎片。（If the pagefile system is not a dedicated drive or partition, make sure that drive does not need to be defragmented.）
o 磁盘空间：%TEMP%至少需要10 GB的空间。
