Glad to receive your letter.How is life treating you？ I am sorry to hear that you have some trouble in making friends and communicating with your classmates.Now I am writing this letter to do you a favour（建议改成give you a hand，这是因为Please do me a favor是希望别人帮助自己时的敬语，如果把“帮助你”说成“do you a favor”，显得有点太高姿态了）. From my personal point of view，there are two main reasons accounting for your problems(对于这个家伙我实际上很想换掉它..）（很棒了，不用换）For one thing,you are buried in studying all day so that you have little time available to chat with others,let alone making
friends.Foranother,maybe you are too shy to show yourself off(这个off应该去掉，根据上下文，此处应为“展示自己”，而非“炫耀自己”) and find some common interests between your classmates and you and thus you lose the chance to get along well with them.
Here are several suggestions for you which can be put into practice（这里，介词短语for you和定语从句which can be put into practice都是修饰名词suggestions,根据修饰成分“短在前，长在后”的一般原则，应把for you放在which从句之前）.First and foremost,if I were you,I would often exchange ideas with claasmates（这玩意我也很想换）（换成them吧） on current issues.Additionally,you should change your mind and not be shy any more as previous.Last but certainly not least,no one can deny the power of smile,so just keep smiling,and you will make yourself konwn by others so as to make more close friends. (这句话用了no one can deny这个黄金圣衣句型，这个句型后面一般跟的应该是完整的句子作为deny的宾语从句，而不是名
词，否则容易犯中式英语错误。这次算侥幸没出错吧。)Hopefully those（改为these更佳） suggestions will be of great help to you.
