Steam Turbine Operating Regulation

1. Scope

This regulation includes the stander, specialty, operation rules, operating maintaining, and the accident management principle.

This regulation applies to operating, regular testing, operation maintains and accident handling of the main and auxiliary facility for this steam turbine station.

2. The technical specification and general character of Steam turbine generator unit 2.1 Steam Turbine facility 2.1.1Summarize

This Steam turbine is N7.5-1.35cendensing steam turbine made by hangzhou chinen steam turbine power Co.LTD, this turbine and QF-J7.5-2 generator made by Hangzhou HangFa electrical equipment co. LTD and other accessory equipment compose steam turbine generator unit. 2.1.2 Technical specification

It‘s single casing low pressure impluse condensing turbine. The main body composed by rotating and stator part. Rotating part include main shaft, impeller, blade, coupling, mail oil pump; stator part include cylinder, steam chest, nozzle unit, diaphragm, steam seal gland, bearing, bearing pedestal, steam control valve etc.

2.1.3.1 Flow part structure: the flow part include speed governing and eight pressure stage, with first level return heat extraction opening for deaerator and heater. 2.1.3.2 Main body construction

This turbine is single casing, compose by horizontal separated front casing and back casing. Front casing use high quality cast steel as material, back casing made of carbon steel. Front and back casing connecting by vertical carved face flange bolt. Top and lower half casing been connected by horizontal split bolt. Front cylinder connect front bearing pedestal by lug. And front bearing pedestal been fixed on base platform by front frame . Back casing fixed on foundation by back frame. Back bearing pedestal been fixed on foundation by back frame.

Turbine has a complete sliding pin system, compose by longitudinal pin, traverse pin and vertical pin. The longitudinal pin has been install between the front bearing pedestal and front frame along turbine centerline. Two places with traverse pin, one is located between front casing lug and inside left and right side of front bearing pedestal, the other one located between back casing and inside the left and right back frame. Two place with vertical pin, one between front casing and front bearing pedestal, the other one located between back casing and back casing guide plate( which fixed on foundation). The intersection of back casing traverse pin and vertical pin centerline is the thermal expansion dead center of turbine unit.

the front bearing pedestal emergency trip governor, emergency oil valve, sensor...On the housing of front bearing pedestal you have servomotor pilot valve assembly.

Back bearing pedestal equipped with Turbine back bearing(elliptical radial bearing)and and more parts as the front bearing of generator. The bearing of generator is elliptical radical spherical bearing. There's adjustable cushion block between spherical pedestal and bearing pedestal. Electrical turning also equipped on back bearing pedestal, push down the rob of feeding device, meantime contrarotate the hand wheel of the worm, until the pinion totally engaged with the turning gear of rotor. Connecting turning motor, starting turning. When turbine rotate speed is higher than turning rotate speed, gear of turning quit automatic, so motor of turning could be shut down.

2.1.4 Regulating system, safety system, lubricating system. 2.1.4.1 Regulating system

1)Regulaing system use electronic hydraulic adjust control system. Include revolution speed sensor(715),digital sensor WOODWARD505(1310),electric hydraulic servovalve(1742),servo-motor(1910)and steam control valve(0801)

WOODWARD505(1310)simultaneous receive turbine rotate speed signal from two speed sensor, and compare with index value, then output implement signal(current 4-20mA),transform into secondary oil pressure by electronic hydraulic servovalve. 2)Starting system

When starting clockwise rotating rob of reversing valve(1830,18390),reversing valve(1839)release starting oil (0.8Mpa),reversing valve(1830)make quick closing oil connecting return oil, then leave the rob of reversing valve(1830),release quick closing oil(0.8Mpa)。 Five minutes later leave the rob of reversing valve(1839) so starting oil drop slowly, the quick closing valve (2301)will open automatic. the position limit switch (ZS587)interlock WOODWARD505(1310), Only when quick closing valve complete open, WOODWARD505(1310) is allow to start steam turbine. 3) The monitor and protecting of turbine operation.

When turbine over speed, emergency trip governor (2110) act, make emergency

protective appliance (2210)release oil. Quick closing valve closed, turbine shutdown. Pull down the rob of manual stop valve(2274) of quick closing device(1111), can release the quick closing oil, close quick closing valve. Solenoid valve 92225,2226)accept shut down signal from protecting system, cut the quick closing oil circuit immediately, close quick closing valve.

4)Experiment

Experimental valve (1845)of quick closing device use for on line testing if the valve jamming, test the flexibility of quick closing valve. Allowable experiment oil pressure P1=0.1081+0.685(P2-0.1)Mpa,P2 indicate actually pressure value of quick closing valve, if actually experiment value higher than allowable experiment value P1 ,indicate there‘s jam phenomenon.

2.1.4.2Oil supply system : this unit use central oil supply system. Oil tank, auxiliary oil pump, AC/DC emergency oil pump, duplex oil cooler, duplex oil filter, oil ejector, and relevant pipeline accessories separately provide pressure oil and lubricating oil.

Pressure oil: Normally pressure supplied by main oil pump of turbine main shaft, and supplied by auxiliary oil pump during start and shutdown. Main function as below:

1) Safety: Via safety system, as the power oil of quick closing valve and control valve protect turbine unit.

2) Govern: One way via electronic hydraulic servovalve change into secondary oil pressure control signal; one way lead in servomotor as power oil open steam control valve, one way lead in quick closing device open/close quick closing valve.

3)Jet oil of oil ejector: because the main oil pump don‘t have automatic suck function, in order to make main oil pump keep regular positive pressure, need oil ejector, this device inside the oil tank, the pressure oil flow out from jet nozzle with high speed, also extract some oil, lead in main oil pump entrance chamber after mixing

2.1.4.3Lubricating oil: After throttle down, cooling and filtering pressure oil form lubrication oil, supply each bearing lubricating and cooling.
