8.2.2.1Quickly down load to 0, step out generator
8.2.2,2Operating emergency trip governor manually, make sure quick closing valve, steam control valve quickly close, close electric main valve if necessary.
8.2.2.3 Inform station master,main transformer generator already been emergency shutdown
8.2.2 .4 Notice lubrication oil temperature, oil pressure, vacuity, and electric oil pump starting status at all time
8.2.2.5Other process required to finish shutdown
8.2.2.6After accidental shutdown, should break vacuum, stop vapor extractor
8.2.2.7When whole plant service power suspend, or electric turning fault, should mark the rotor initial position, turn jigger rotor 180 degree by hand every other 15min 8.3 Condenser vacuum drop
To make sure condenser vacuum drop check Quickly: 8.3.1. Circulating water system
8.3.2. Air ejector working condition and the imprecision of vacuum system 8.3.3. 3 Condensation water system 8.3.4. Shaft seal steam supply system. 8.3.5. Circulating water abnormal
Circulating water suspend: operating pump trip, current indicate 0, vacuum drop suddenly, exhaust steam temp. rising quick.
Solution: if standby pump not interlocking, start quickly by hand
8.3.5.1. No enough circulating water: vacuum drop gradually, exhaust steam temp. rising, difference of inlet and outlet temperature increase.
8.3.5.2. Solution: Increase the circulating water quantity, release air inside the pipeline, check if the inlet filter screen jam, oil Cooler, air cooler change into standby water source cooling. When vacuum keep drop can‘t recovery, down load till shutdown according to decrease vacuum rules
8.3.6. when condenser water level rising
8.3.6.1. Check if condensation water re-cycle valve and softened water replenishment inlet valve close strictness.If condenser pump fault, quickly start standby pump. 8.3.6.2. If condenser cooling pipe break, need report to chief on duty, stop and repair. 8.3.7. Vacuum system imprecision
8.3.7.1. Steam outlet safety valve damage, accidental shut down. 8.3.7.2. Flange, valve packing, water seal imprecision, need eliminate
8.3.7.3. Side outlet valve of condenser, vacuum break valve imprecision, need eliminate 8.3.7.4. Adjust main control valve, ensure gland sealing supply. 8.3.7.5. Air ejector abnormal
8.4. oil system abnormal 8.4.1. oil pressure drop
8.4.1.1. Checking for cause, start auxiliary pump according to oil pressure
8.4.1.2. Check if oil injector work well, when abnormal sound been found, accidental shutdown

8.4.1.3. Check if oil injector work well, when can‘t eliminate should accidental shutdown 8.4.1.4. Pressure oil pipe and return oil pipe leak or break, can‘t eliminate should accidental shutdown 8.4.2. oil level drop
8.4.2.1. Check if oil tank, oil pipe, oil cooler each connector leak
8.4.2.2. Check if emergency oil release valve, oil tank drain valve, sampling point leak. 8.4.2.3. Check if oil level indicator meter normal
8.4.2.4. if oil level drop and treatment useless, should accidental shutdown. 8.4.3. auxiliary oil pump abnormal:
8.4.3.1. During start if electric auxiliary oil pump fault, should quickly start emergency oil
pump, stop the starting of steam turbine, eliminate the fault.
8.4.3.2. During shut down, if electric oil pump, emergency oil pump fault at same time, should keep steam turbine rated rotate speed, make mail oil pump work, and shut it down when quickly eliminate the fault of auxiliary pump. 8.5. Axial displacement increase
8.5.1. When axial displacement increase been found should check: 8.5.1.1. Temperature of thrust bush 8.5.1.2. Vibrate and sound
8.5.1.3. If instrument of axial displacement precise
8.5.1.4. Main steam pressure, temperature, monitoring section pressure 8.5.1.5. If unit load suddenly change
8.5.2. When axial displacement reaches 0.4mm or thrust bearing bush temperature
reach 90℃, should quickly down load, make it back to normal
8.5.3. When axial displacement reaches 0.6mm or with abnormal sound and vibrates,
should break vacuum shut accidental shutdown. 8.6. vibrate increase or sound abnormal
8.6.1. Cause for vibrate increase or sound abnormal 8.6.1.1. lubrication pressure and temperature abnormal
8.6.1.2. Single side of casing get cold air, expanding asymmetry 8.6.1.3. Axial displacement increase 8.6.1.4. Blade break
8.6.1.5. Steam turbine friction between kinetic and startic 8.6.1.6. Center disalignment or shaft housing gap disqualify 8.6.1.7. Main shaft bend
8.6.1.8. Generator interior damage or rotor coil short out
8.6.2. When unit vibrate not intensive, need loading down till vibrate eliminate
8.6.3. When unit intensively vibrate or clear grating of metal been heard, should shut
down immediately by vacuum breaker, and notice rotor idle time, list sound change.
8.7. Water impact 8.7.1. Symbol of water impact 8.7.1.1. Inlet temperature sudden drop
8.7.1.2. White steam or water drop come out from steam pipe flange plate, front and back gland seal also casing faying face.
8.7.1.3. Inside the pipeline and steam turbine have voice of water impact, and hum. 8.7.1.4. Load suddenly drop, axial displacement increase, thrust bearing bush

8.7.1.5. Unit vibration increase.
8.7.2. To make sure steam turbine get water impact:
8.7.2.1. Quickly break vacuum, emergency shut down, totally open main steam system drain valve and steam turbine main body drain valve.
8.7.2.2. Correctly record idle time, vacuum change, value of axial displacement, bearing return oil temperature and voice etc. 8.8. cycle change
Generator should running under cycle 50土0.5Hz, if beyond this range:
8.8.1. Quickly inform electric people asking recover cycle to regular value.
8.8.2. To avoid automatic main valve close, start high pressure pump when cycle drop
to ~45Hz
8.8.3. When cycle drop lead to load increase, should adjust load to regular value. 8.8.4. Check up unit vibrate, axial displacement, thrust bearing bush temperature 8.9. Load shedding
Load to 0 , serious over speed, emergency trip governor act
8.9.1. Check quick closing valve, control valve should close.
8.9.2. Waiting for the rotate speed drop to 2900 r/min, re-open quick closing valve,
control valve, and keep unit idling.
8.9.3. Adjust shaft seal inlet pressure and water level of condenser.
8.9.4. Check up axial displacement, thrust bearing bush temperature, unit sound,
released steam temperature.
8.9.5. If load meter show 0, ampere meter indicator, rotate speed not change, it is
generator didn‘t step out, emergency trip governor malfunction, need quickly step out
8.9.6. Emergency trip governor malfunction, should make test, and on load again after
qualified
8.10. Pipeline break
8.10.1. When steam, water, oil pipeline break, need cut down the source, protect human
and equipment safety. If main steam pipeline break should shut down immediately and prepare fire protection.
8.10.2. When isolating the broke steam, water, oil pipeline is not possible, need, break
vacuum accidental shutdown
8.10.3. 。High pressure feed water pipe break, need switch over immediately, and ensure
supply water to boiler. 8.11. Service power interrupt 8.11.1. Phenomenon
8.11.1.1. All current of running pump drop to 0, motor stop 8.11.1.2. AC-lighting extinguish
8.11.1.3. Pressure of main steam increase first then go down, temperature drop.
8.11.2. Confirm service power break off 8.11.2.1. Start DC-emergency oil pump
8.11.2.2. Confirm emergency trip governor drop out, turbine already accidental shutdown, complete other shut down operation.
8.11.2.3. If power recovered during shut down, restart according to the order of chief on duty

8.12. On fire
8.12.1. Facility of steam turbine room on fire 8.12.1.1. Report to chief
8.12.1.2. Cut off relevant power, arrange staff put out fire with fire extinguisher. 8.12.1.3. If endanger equipment safety, accidental shutdown.
8.12.1.4. Improve equipment surveillance, if fire trend to spread, prepare to shut down. 8.12.1.5. Oil system on fire, use dry type annihilator, 1211 annihilator, carpasian linen
etc to put out. Water and sand is forbidden to use.( except oil on load on fire can use sand)When fire can‘t be put out, need urgently shut down steam turbine by break vacuum and inform electrical people increase excitation in order to speed up shut down, start high pressure pump is forbidden. If fire threat the oil tank, open emergency release valve, but must make sure enough lubricate oil during shut down, release them when turbine totally motionless.
8.12.2. Generator on fire:
8.12.2.1. Immediately shutdown by break vacuum.
8.12.2.2. Connect fire control pipe, make sure generator stepout, spray water into generator.
8.12.2.3. Rotate speed drop to 500r/min, close vacuum break valve, recover vacuum to -0.048MPa(400mmHg)
8.12.2.4. Keep generator running with rotate speed 300r/min,untill outfire, chief duty approve to shut down
8.12.2.5. When can‘t keep rotate speed on 300r/min,after motionless, start the turning continuous operating immediately 8.13. Auxiliary engine fault
8.13.1. In below situation urgently stop 8.13.1.1. Equipment intensively vibrate
8.13.1.2. Equipment interior grating of metal been heard 8.13.1.3. Motor on fire or smoking
8.13.1.4. Bearing smoking or higher than 75℃
8.13.2. In below situation start standby pump first then shut down fault one. 8.13.2.1. Packing fever or smoking
8.13.2.2. Huge leaking on bearing bush and adjust useless 8.13.2.3. Bearing temperature reach 65℃, and trended to going up 8.13.2.4. Temperature of generator cover reach 70℃,and keep rising.
8.13.3. When pump shut down with electrical reason, after checking by electrical staff if no apparently short circuit or damage, when there‘s no standby pump, re-switch once is allowed.
