课程目的:
1.通过电影,让同学们学习英语的过程更加轻松,有趣。
2.增强学生想象力,独立思考的能力,口语表达能力,公开演讲能力,影评撰写能力。
3. 要求学生了解影片背景知识,在教师的讲解下,学生掌握影片的主题和文化内涵以及亲感内涵等。
4.教师讲解影片节选部分对话,分析动画人物Nemo的人物性格特征后,学生们能够表演节选部分的内容。
5.课外拓展同学们的词汇量与语法知识要求学生能用英语简述并评价所欣赏的电影。
课程任务:背景知识介绍,导入文化内涵;电影欣赏;俚语习语、词汇讲解。

一、课程任务介绍
所要欣赏的英文电影基本情况介绍完毕后,教师向学生明确本次课要达到的目
标并分配本次课的相关任务,如听力练习、口语学习、主题提炼或写电影评论。
二、赏析电影
Pixar Animation Studios, or simply Pixar (stylized PIXAR), is an American computer animation film studio based in Emeryville, California. The studio is best known for its CGI-animated feature films created with PhotoRealistic RenderMan, its own implementation of the industry-standard RenderMan image-rendering application programming interface used to generate high-quality images. Pixar began in 1979 as the Graphics Group, part of the computer division of Lucasfilm before its spin-out as a corporation in 1986 with funding by Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Jobs, who became its majority shareholder. The Walt Disney Company bought Pixar in 2006 at a valuation of $7.4 billion, a transaction which made Jobs Disney's largest shareholder.
Finding Nemo is a 2003 American computer-animated comedy-drama adventure film written and directed by Andrew Stanton, released by Walt Disney Pictures, and the fifth film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. It tells the story of the over-protective clownfish named Marlin (Albert Brooks) who, along with a regal tang named Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), searches for his abducted son Nemo (Alexander Gould) all the way to Sydney Harbour. Along the way, Marlin learns to take risks and let Nemo take care of himself. It is Pixar's first film to be released in cinemas in the northern hemisphere summer. The film was re-released for the first time in 3D on September 14, 2012, and it was released on Blu-ray on December 4, 2012. A sequel, Finding Dory, is in development, set to be released on June 17, 2016.
Two ocellaris clownfish, Marlin and his wife Coral, are admiring their new home in the Great Barrier Reef and their clutch of eggs that are due to hatch. An Australian barracuda attacks them, leaving Marlin unconscious. Marlin wakes up to find Coral and all but one of her eggs missing. Marlin names this last egg Nemo, a name that Coral liked. Nemo develops a small right fin due to damage to his egg from the barracuda attack, which limits his swimming ability. After Marlin embarrasses Nemo during a school field trip, Nemo sneaks away from the reef and is captured by scuba divers. As the boat departs, one of the divers accidentally knocks his diving mask overboard.

集体讨论(brainstorm)是英国大学普遍采用的一种教学方式。集体讨论的过程也是集思广益的过程,更是锻炼学生听说能力和逻辑思维能力的过程。集体讨论可以通过分组讨论或自由发言等形式对相关问题进行探讨,畅所欲言。学生也可交流所记录下的自认为语言优美或富含哲理、启迪人生的经典句子或电影对
白,供彼此在日常训练和对话中使用。
教学反思:
摆脱依靠翻译一词一句进行阅读的习惯,培养外语语感,养成阅读时直接用外语进行思维的能力。对于影片中的一些词语精美的段落,在课文讲授完毕后,我会鼓励同学们们大声诵读,争取达到背诵的程度。在播放完每一部影片后,先从整部
从影片的角度出发,提出经典台词对白,要求学生掌握其发音、语音、语调、语速、连读、爆破,逐句聆听英文对白,反复跟读练习,达到会听、会说的目的,并根据影片中经典部分和带有浓厚教育意义的英文对白按难易程度要求学生背诵,然后从单词听写到句子或段落的听写,根据听写状况调整听力背诵难度与内容,再组织学生分期、分批、分角色以小品的形式亲身体验英文配音,亲身领悟丰富多彩的语言和变化万千的语气、语调、节奏和断句。在紧张和兴奋的真实情景中,检验英语应用和表达能力。然后组织学生讨论、研究影片的艺术思想,了解比较典型的语法现象,了解相关西方文化的精髓。最后由浅入深、循序渐进地引导学生进行各种短文写作练习,如写一篇影评或以习作的形式讨论与电影有关的问题,安排学生互相评阅,让他们做编辑,以此来调动学生写作的兴趣和积极性,也能有效地提高学生的英文写作水平。

3. 要求学生了解影片背景知识以及关于雨果原著的时代背景,知识背景,在教师的讲解下,学生掌握影片的主题和文化内涵等。
4.教师讲解影片节选部分对话,分析冉阿让的人物性格特征后,学生们能够表演著名节选部分的内容。
