高贵的人，蔑视圣人所说的话。?
Confucius said, ?A man of virtue holds these three things in awe: destiny, the superior and the words of sages. A base man knows nothing about destiny so he does not fear it. He despises the superior and disdains the words of sages.?
子曰：?君子有九思：视思明，听思聪，色思温，貌思恭，言思忠，事思敬，疑思问，忿思难，见得思义。?
孔子说：?君子在九种情况下要认真想想：看的时候，是否看清楚；听的时候，是否听清楚；示人脸色，是否温和；展示体貌，是否谦恭；跟人说话，是否忠实；办事的时候，是否认真严肃；遇到疑问，是否应该请教他人；发泄怒火，是否有后患；获取财利时，是否正当。?
Confucius said, ?In nine cases a virtuous man should stop to think first: He should think if he sees clearly when looking, think if he hears clearly when listening, think if he looks mild when showing facial expression, think if he is courteous when presenting his appearance, think if he is faithful when conversing, think if he is earnest when
working, think if consulting others when in doubt; think if bad consequence when venting irritation, and think if it is righteous for him to take something/get something from others.?
