The government carry out the government online project from 1999 to now, My government websites have been built more than 50000，develop rapidlye, there are also many problems. Such as the sharing of information resources is poor, management is not in place, the existence of security risks. While the websites construction mode is effectively solved the problem.Therefore, the pattern of government website from independent website gradually to websites. The government websites has become the development trend to construct government website.
This paper mainly take Nanchang City for example, research the construction and management of the government websites in five parts ：The first part is the introduction. analyse the background and significance of the research，Introduces the research status at home and abroad,Expounds the thought and method of research. The second part is the theory and the present situation of government websites’ construction and management. This paper introduces related concepts and definitions.
