Abstract: Undergoing the development of 30 years, Religious market theory instead of Secularization thesis has been the new paradigm of the Western religion sociology theories. Religious market theory is based in the rational choice theory in which

religious behavior maybe regard rational as other human behavior equally.The theory contains a complex system of many propositions from the individual to the community again to market.While it obtains the successful explanation to American and Europe's religious phenomenon,it also has incurred various criticism.The theory can be helpful to Chinese religion's empirical study.
