Every one has a family. We have dad, mom…… Do you know what’s the meaning of family? S: It means 家庭。 T teaches the pronunciation of family. T shows her family photo: This is my family. He’s my father. T shows the word card “father”: He’s my father. S: He’s my father. T: Father, father↗↘, he’s my father. Run two trains. T: You also can say “ He’s my dad.” T: And he’s a man. T: When a boy grows up, he’ll be a man. ( T draws a boy→a man.) T: Man, man↗↘, he’s a man 2)T: Look at the picture. Guess! Who’s she? S: She’s your mother. T: Great! She’s my mother. But it also can be my mother’s father.外公。 T teaches the pronunciation of grandfather. T: You also can call him grandpa. T teaches grandmother (grandma) as above. Step 3. Practise. 1. Game: Man or Woman? T shows half of the picture: Guess! A man or a woman? S1: A man. S2: A woman. T: Let’s see. A man. 2. Game: Slap the flies. T puts the word cards on the blackboard.
