【活动】Practice 1.Show a gift box and say:

T:Look,this is a gift I’ll give to my mother. Please guess what it is in.

S1:Is it a beautiful card? S2:Is it a box of chocolates? S3:Are they any flowers? S4: ??

T: Please open it, Lucy. What’s in it?

Ss:Oh,it’s a scarf,a beautiful scarf.

2.Books open.Ss read the dialogue in Part C and practice role-playing it in pairs.

3.Pair work. Encourage the students to Role-play similar dialogues using their own gifts. e.g.

S1: Mum, today is Mother’s Day. Sit here and have a cup of milk. S2: Thank you.

S1: Here’s a card. It’s for you. Happy Mother’s Day.

T:Is there??(帮助学生理解句子意思含义并根据图意回答) S:Yes, there is./No,there isn’t. 板书句型,并进行操练。 听课文A部分读音,回答问题。 Is ther a bus on the road?
