随着我国农业的发展和WTO的加入, 作物品质改良已成为我国育种工作的主要目标。本课程理论课从作物品质性状的遗传出发,系统讲解作物品质改良方法及作物品质性状测定方法。包括禾谷类作物蛋白质和淀粉的遗传、分类、结构特征、生物合成及其改良途径。禾谷类作物及豆类作物油脂的遗传、分类、结构特征、生物合成及其改良途径。禾谷类作物及薯类作物的淀粉及胡萝卜素的遗传改良。作物微量元素遗传改良等内容。力求全面、系统的反映国内外作物品质研究的新进展。
实验课从作物主要品质性状出发,使学生系统掌握作物品质性状鉴定实验技术。包括作物籽粒胚乳蛋白质含量测定技术、作物籽粒胚油分含量测定技术,作物籽粒胚乳淀粉含量及淀粉特性测定技术及作物食品加工品质鉴定技术,通过这些实验内容的实施,旨在提高学生理论联系实践的能力,培养大学生勤于动手、动脑的良好科研习惯。
With the development of agronomy and China's entrance to WTO, crop quality improvement has already become the main aim of crop breeding in China. Theory part of the course starts from the genetics of crop quality traits, to explain methods of improving crop quality and methods for determination of crop quality traits, including the genetics, classification, structural characteristics, biosynthesis and improvement ways for protein and starch of cereal crops, the genetics, classification, structural characteristics, biosynthesis and improvement ways for lipids of cereal crops and legume crops, starch and carotene improvement of cereal crops and tuber crop, and trace elements improvement of crops. The course strives to introduce recent research progress of crop quality study at domestic and overseas.
Experimental part of the course starts from major quality traits of crops, to make students master the experimental techniques for identification of crop quality systematically, including technique of crop seed endosperm protein analysis, technique of crop seed embryo lipid content analysis, and technique of crop seed endosperm starch analysis. Students’ ability of integrating theory with practice can be improved, and students’ good scientific research skill at operating and thinking ability can be trained by doing experiments above.

For the students whose speciality refers to Crop Production except Horticulture, Crop Practice and Biological Investigation is a basically practical subject. This course mainly covers field techniques of crops and crop biological investigation. Wheat, maize, cotton, peanut and sweet potato, etc. are chosen as representative crops. Students will take part in farm work of representative crops from sowing to harvest. Students will understand each farm work, its principles and major points of each farming techniques. Students will receive the training of field investigation of crops and understand the items, standard and methods of crop field investigation. Crop biological investigation mainly covers three aspects: (1) morphological and developmental characteristics of representative crops, the investigation items, standard and methods. (2) yield constituents, its formation characteristics and economic characters of representative crops, the investigation items, standard and methods. (3) classification, morphological difference, produce characteristics, economic organ and its uses of the other common and newly developing crops.

绪论部分简单介绍设施园艺发展的历史、现状及前景,设施园艺的特点,在国民经济中的地位与作用;第二、第三章是本课程的基础部分,第二章讲解园艺设施的不同类型、结构、性能及其在生产中应用。设施类型以日光温室和塑料大棚为重点,同时安排设施类型调查和不同园艺设施内小气候环境测量实验;第三章设施园艺的覆盖材料,重点讲授生产上常用的透明覆盖材料、保温覆盖材料和遮阳覆盖材料的性能、特点等;第四章设施园艺的环境特点及调节控制,是本课程的核心,也是重点,分别讲授在设施条件下的温、光、湿、气体、土壤环境与露地的差别,如何根据园艺作物生长发育对环境的要求进行合理调控等;第五章园艺设施的规划设计与建造,只要求学生了解温室选址的基本原则,从温室强度、采光、保温角度出发,设计温室必须考虑的一些参数等。通过对上述内容的系统讲授,实现同学们对设施园艺相关内容有一个全面的了解和认识的目标。
Protected Horticulture, a key course for students in the horticulture science, covers the subjects of multidiscipline including biology, environments and engineering. Based on students’ background and studying goal, the course emphasizes the following contents. In chapter one, students will learn the history, present, and promise of protect horticulture, the characteristics of protected horticulture, and the status and role of protected horticulture in the national economy. Chapters two and three are fundamental parts of the course. In chapter two, students will learn different types, structure, and characteristics of horticultural facilities and their application in production. Emphasis for facility types will be put on solar greenhouse and plastic house. Meanwhile, investigation of facility types and experiments for measuring greenhouse environments will be arranged. Chapter three will focus on the capabilities and characters of transparent materials, heat preservation materials and shading materials etc. those are commonly use in production. Chapter four “the environment characters and climate control inside the protected horticulture” is the core part of the course. Differences of temperature, light, humidity, gas, and soil environments between in protected field and open field will be introduced. Students will learn how to manage and control the environments based on the requirements of horticultural crops during different developing stages. Chapter five will introduce planning, design, and construction of horticultural facilities. Through attending this course, students will have a general understanding about Protected Horticulture.

The course of the Horticulture Commodity Science is a kind of complex applied science and also a combing interdiscipline of technology and economy, theory and practice, which is not only to study the use-value of horticulture commodity, but also the realizing process and its regularity of the use-value.
