Ss:Yellow, red, green, blue, black, white, pink. T:What other color words do you know? Ss:Orange, purple, brown, gray.

Write all the color words on the blackboard.Read them aloud and ask the students to repeat.Then let some students to read these words individually.

T:My sweater is red.(To a student who is wearing a red sweater.)What color is your sweater?

S:It’s red.

Show some other colors,asking the following questions. T:My pants are blue.What color are your pants? S:My pants are blue.

T:Very good.(Show some pictures.)What color is the hat? S:It’s pink.

Repeat the two phrases after the teacher. Show two pencils in different colors and length.

T:Who can describe the pencils? S1:It’s a long yellow pencil. S2:It’s a short green pencil.

T:Great.(Show other things in different colors and length.)Can you describe them?

Ask some students to describe the things.
