ON THE INNOVATIVE BANK FINANCING MODES FOR SMALL-AND-MEDIUM-SIZED LOGISTICS COMPANIES
ABSTRACT
Logistics, an important faction of the national economy, is the blend of the transportation business, storage industry and goods generation industry and information industry, etc. Covering a wide range of business areas makes logistics firms hire many, stimulate consumption, promote production, advance industrial structure adjusting, transform economic development methods and sharpen the competitive edge of the economy, which are very critical to the progress of the economy. But the logistics industry is dominated by small-sized companies that are costly to function and vulnerable to the uncertainty of the economy. As result, it is urgent for logistics enterprises to shift to new functioning patterns, make more use of science and technology, and hire employees of quality. What is the most vital is the modern financial support, while the needs of such small-sized enterprises are always ignored by banks. The gap between the needs and supplies of financial supplies is so alarming that it is high time to tackle it cautiously by renewing financing concepts of banks, as well as revolutionizing the financing models.
By examining the strengths, weaknesses, risks as well as the profits of small-sized logistics companies, this thesis is to figure out such companies’ financing need, their functioning modes of capital, their financing risks and benefits, and investment-profits ratios in them. Further, this thesis is to tailor financing models for them, so as to create a win-win between the small-sized
logistics enterprises and the banks and to eliminate the obstacle on their way to bloom.
Applying SWOT and case analytic methods, and from the perspectives of their development, financing risks, the functioning of the capital and the investment-profits rates, this thesis is to produce the tailored financing modes for small-sized logistics companies.
Such financing are monitored by the credit rates, the mastering of functioning risks, the flow of the money, and comprehensive financial support.
