Reinhard opened Elisabeth's letter first, and this is what she wrote:

\过去一向,过去时常sing of an afternoon when the sun shone on its cage [keid?] 鸟笼. You remember how多么,何等often mother would hang悬挂a piece of cloth over the cage in order to keep it quiet when it sang so lustily ['l?stili] 精力充沛地.

\‘er?k] 埃里克now drops in顺道拜访to see us occasionally [?’kei??n?li] 有时候,偶尔. You told us once that he was just like就好像,正如,浑似his brown褐色的,棕色的,咖啡色的top-coat外套;轻便大衣;宽大衣.
